For over 100 years, the New Hartford Fire Department has been serving the community with the very latest in firefighting equipment and emergency medical service.  Our Primary Response area includes the Village of New Hartford and portions of the Town.  The NHFD is an ALL volunteer department comprised of dedicated members ready to answer the call for their fellow citizens.  Every day we strive to provide high quality and cost-effective Fire Prevention & Protection, property conservation and patient care.
